The A1 Racing Club off road track is situated north of Grantham on arable farming land.

The track was designed and built in April 2007 by a very dedicated team in about six weeks!

The racing surface is a mix of 80% clay and 20% topsoil, and gives a hard consistent surface to race on. It is regularly maintainded and compacted with a ride-on roller.

The track was built with BRCA regulations in mind being 4 metres wide virtually all the way round and having a lap length of 300m. It is designed to be challenging and rewarding for the driver, and also give maximum enjoyment to spectators.

There is a wide raised pit lane that confortably accomodates truggies and a fixed safety fence betweeen the track and the main pitting area. The rostrum can safely accomodate 15 people and gives a spectacular view of the track.

The track is a mix of fast sweeping bends, tight technical sections and has a multitude of jumps and yumps. New for 2008 is a 5ft high table top on a 90 degree corner, and an overall track extension with some new jumps.

Toilets are available on site as is a hot food van at our club events and larger meetings.
